Our client, an established Energy Consultancy, is looking for an Account Manager to join their team and manage an existing key portfolio of clients. The main focus of this role is to oversee client relationships, manage procurement renewals and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services. - Manage contract renewals, including upselling and cross-selling
- Preparing tender proposals, presenting quotes and securing contract
- Support clients with billing queries, supported by Billing Team
- Providing market intelligence
- Maintain regular contact with the client base you build and develop
- Communicate client needs and demands to energy analysts and admin operations.
Skills and experience required:
- 3 years account management within the energy industry (either broker or supplier)
- Commercial acumen and sales experience
- Effective communication and relationship building skills
- Professional, assertive, and driven
- Good written and organisational skills
- Target/commission driven with good commercial awareness
- Organised with attention to detail and a team player
