Our client is a leading energy management consultancy, supporting more managing agents across the UK than any other consultancy. They are seeking an Account Manager to manage an assigned customer base whilst also supporting other account managers to deliver excellent customer service through quick response turnaround, deal with queries, and providing timely and accurate information and service updates. Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage an assigned portfolio of accounts, working with sales to ensure seamless transition of ownership of the account
  • Developing strong positive & professional relationships with both clients and stakeholders.
  • Initial point of contact for clients, ensuring all requirements are effectively managed and delivering accurate information at all times.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, resolve queries, and provide reports within SLA’s.
  • Own the accuracy of records, communications and tasks relating to Contract End Dates.

Experience:

  • Good understanding of the energy markets and billing.
  • Account Management experience with ability to influence & engage at all levels of business.
  • Experience of customer / client relationship management and the know how to manage customer concerns and complaints proactively and positively.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. 
  • Understanding of the energy industry, including billing and industry specific anomalies – useful. 

Managing an assigned customer base while also supporting other account managers as and when required, delivering excellent customer service through quick response turnaround, answering customer queries, and providing timely and accurate information and service updates. The role is demanding, requiring excellent organisation and communication skills. A good understanding of the energy markets and billing is highly desirable.

Benefits: 28 Days holiday- additional I day given per full year of employment up to 35 days! £25 per month contribution towards home utility costs including broadband.
