Our client is a dynamic media and communications leader, specializing in innovative, multi-platform solutions for the healthcare sector. Their portfolio consist of market-leading publications!!

They're seeking a driven Advertising Sales Director to lead revenue growth for one of their flagship titles.

THE ROLE

The job involves a close working relationship with the Editors to ensure both parties are fully up to date with the market events and key personnel. An involvement in the editorial flat-plan for each issue is also required to ensure customer satisfaction as far as possible on the positioning of advertising.

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful Advertising sales Manager will be a self-motivated individual who thrives on forging new business relationships while nurturing existing accounts. The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience in advertising sales, publishing, or media sales, and is eager for a challenging role with greater responsibility and recognition. Prior experience in healthcare, publishing, or a pharmacy-based agency is advantageous but not exclusively essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek out and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Build and manage new and existing client relationships, both in-person and virtually.
  • Exceed sales targets and KPIs to expand market share and drive revenue for the magazine and its website.
  • Stay abreast of market trends to uncover emerging opportunities.
  • Champion the magazine through creative, high-impact promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal creative and editorial teams, managing timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee production details and ensure timely delivery of advertisement copy.
