Role Overview

Working for one of the UKs leading joinery manufacturers as Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and manage key accounts with National and Large Regional Housebuilders across the southeast of England.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share within the house building sector
  • Negotiate and secure framework agreements with National and Large Regional House Builders
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts while identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and exceptional customer service
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform product development and pricing strategies

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record in area sales management / business development within the building materials or construction supply sector
  • Experience selling timber or joinery products (e.g., skirting, mouldings, architraves, doorsets, staircases, joists) is highly desirable
  • Strong network of contacts within the house building or construction supply industry
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage at senior management level
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach
