Our client, the UK's leading Same Day Delivery Network, are looking to recruit an industry-specific, experienced Area Sales Manager to join their ever-growing operation. Overseeing a small team of 5 x Territory Managers based in London, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.Our client have been established for 25 years, and specialise in Same Day Courier / Contract Logistics services. They operate a 24/7/365 service and boast close to 30 service centres across the UK to ensure an incredible local customer service. Due to their sustained success/growth, they are actively looking to recruit the perfect candidate to oversee their integral London operation. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Supporting the Head of Territory Sales with the management and delivery of business commercial growth objectives- Owning the delivery of strategic revenue goals through supporting and managing 5 x Territory Managers- Coaching team to deliver monthly/annual revenue/profit targets- Full accountability for the retention and growth of the team's customer portfolio- Promoting a partnership approach- Assisting Territory Managers to oversee customers through the entire process (presenting strategic proposals / close, etc)In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Experience of leading a team of Account/Territory Managers (working in a field capacity)- Excellent sales acumen- Proven ability to successfully negotiate client contracts- Incredible communication skills (ability to articulate successfully through both verbal and written correspondence)- Ability to build successful/strong stakeholder relationships across all functions, whilst maintaining a positive 'can do' attitude- Influential leadership style - proactively managing, supporting and mentoring team to develop a strong, passionate and successful operation- Ability to identify key data sources and analyse data effectivelyIn addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:- Quarterly commission/bonus (£15,000 annual bonus incentive)- £4,500 car allowance- Full autonomy over working schedule (on field/in office, etc)- Incredible progression opportunities!Our client are looking to move very quickly on this role, so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience!
