Area Sales Manager - South/South East Region - Attractive salary

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Territory Sales Manager with immediate effect for our client who lead their market across the globe.

Sales experience in scientific capital goods, preferably in the clinical/biological/materials sector would be advantageous.

Regional Territory Sales Manager

Our client is the UK leader in their industry across the UK offering sales, training and service with theirown brand products as well as being agents for most of the leading major product companies.

Due to expansion and a new key contract with one of the worlds most recognised optical brands, ALH Recruitmentare looking for a Regional Territory Sales Manager for the south/south east area.

This is an exciting new opportunity to develop theirpresence and sales in this market.

You will be supported by a team of specialists and service personnel and full training will be given both by our client and the new supplier.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Promotion/sales of products and related components,imaging/image, Analysis software, and third-party equipment as required.
  • Manage your assigned territory, plan all activity to maximise on all opportunities and develop client working partnerships. Organising your calendar according to the needs and proprieties of current clients/prospects calls/visits.
  • Perform on-site and showroom demonstrations, training and installations (the latter in conjunction with our dedicated service team).
  • Proactively generating new leads/opportunities, following up on all inbound generated leads.
  • Attend UK wide trade shows
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships.

Ideal Requirements

  • Sales experience in scientific capital goods, preferably in the clinical/biological/materials sector
  • Clinical/biological/materials science background.
  • Working knowledge of optical equipmentand imaging would be preferred.

Salary/Benefits

Salary and benefits will be concomitant to experience/qualifications but will be in line with current market expectations and open to discussion.
