We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager who will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in overseeing our clients’ award winning sales team, driving sales performance, and ensuring that their customers have an exceptional buying experience. This role will also involve working closely with the sales team to train and develop their skills, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Sales Manager in managing the sales operations of new and used vehicles.

- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales objectives and deliver outstanding customer service.

- Monitor sales targets and performance while implementing strategies to increase productivity and sales results.

- Provide ongoing training and support to sales staff to ensure high levels of competence and professionalism.

- Cultivate strong relationships with customers to maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.

- Work with the Sales Manager to analyse market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

- Help manage the sales department's budget and resources effectively.

- Keep abreast of the latest industry developments and competitor offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in automotive sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Previous leadership or managerial experience in a sales environment is not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to coach, train, and motivate team members.

- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- A commitment to providing high-quality customer service.

- Full UK driving licence.
