Ambition is delighted to be working exclusively with a top tier city-based law firm, with their search for a new BD & Marketing Manager. Our prestigious client is seeking a dynamic and proactive business development professional to join their market-leading Finance practice. This is a highly visible, partner-facing role that involves planning, developing, and implementing business development and marketing strategies.

This full-time, permanent role will be based in the firms impressive London office where they operate a hybrid policy of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead and execute strategic business development initiatives to secure new business and elevate the market profile of the Finance practice.
  • Marketing Materials: Oversee the preparation of pitches, presentations, RFP responses, and other marketing materials.
  • Legal Directories: Manage submissions for legal directories and awards.
  • Client Research: Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and provide competitive landscape insights.
  • Client Relationships: Work with partners to develop and expand client relationships and win new business.
  • Events: Working with the Events team to execute internal and external events.

Experience required

  • 5+ years of experience in business development within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Previous experience of supporting FS/Regulatory practice groups would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
