I'm excited to announce that I've just taken on an interim Business Development and Marketing role with one of our leading accountancy firm clients. This is an initial 3-month contract to cover a period of absence in the team.

Position: Interim Business Development and Marketing Manager

Location: Offices across London and Kent

Availability: Immediate start required

About the Role: You will manage projects, marketing, and business development initiatives, working effectively with practice personnel across the firm. This role involves close collaboration as part of a multi-location Marketing and BD team, delivering support across the firm. You will work closely with Senior Managers to manage and deliver marketing and BD activities, and with Partners, the team, and people across the firm as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage the pilot of a new branded template system, set up and test branded templates with relevant service lines, and work closely with the IT team.
  • Client Care: Manage the implementation of client care delivery team actions.
  • Sector Activation: Work with the Senior BD Manager to manage the activation of a new sector specialism in creative, media, and technology, covering communications and events programs.
  • Service Line Support: Support the accounts and outsourcing service line with their marketing and BD plan and actions, working with BD representatives across regional offices.
  • PR and Awards: Manage the gathering of information required for award entries, including data, testimonials, and supporting materials. Review and approve editorial and press releases as required.
  • Winning New Work: Support firmwide telemarketing campaigns and draft proposals as required.
  • General Support: Assist the Senior BD and Senior Marketing Manager with the management of other marketing and BD activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role at either an accountancy or law firm.(essential)
  • Availability to start immediately.
  • Willingness to travel to offices across London and Kent.
