This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business development and marketing professional to join a leading mid-tier law firm in London following an exciting period of growth and change.

Reporting directly to and working closely with the Head of Business Development, the Business Development & Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing BD and Marketing strategy across the firm’s Regulatory and Public Law Practices. The role holder will be tasked with building measurable BD and marketing plans leveraging central marketing, communications, events, knowledge, digital, data and CRM specialists. Key areas of activity will include budgeting and reporting on spend, leading on the creation of client presentations and pitches and maintaining key account processes and the client feedback programme. On the marketing side the successful applicant will produce content and collateral, organise events and plan and coordinate award and directory submissions. In addition, you will help upskill junior team members and the wider team as needed, providing ongoing coaching and support.

Committed, proactive and willing to learn, the ideal candidate will have strong generalist BD and marketing experience gained whilst working in a legal or professional services environment to include past success in generating content, supporting the award and directory submissions process and organising events. Outstanding writing, project management and organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail are essential. A keen interest in Regulatory or Public Law will also be prerequisite.
