This is the perfect opportunity for a graduate with 12-24 months of B2B sales experience who’s ready to grow their career in media and events sales.
As a Business Development Manager here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Pitch and Sell: Market innovative solutions to an international client base, including digital advertising, sponsorship for an industry-leading awards event, and content sponsorship (like podcasts and interviews).
- Build Connections: Reach potential clients through cold-calling, email, and social media—be the one who opens doors. Also, you will efficiently follow-up with all inbound leads.
- Drive Your Pipeline: Maintain a strong sales funnel to ensure continuous success.
- Present with Impact: Confidently showcase cutting-edge digital marketing solutions via calls and video meetings, tailoring your pitch to meet client needs and boost their ROI.
- Foster Relationships: Build and sustain strong client connections, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Seize Opportunities: Identify upselling opportunities to maximise client value and revenue growth.
- Close Deals: Take charge of negotiations, overcome objections, and finalise deals in a dynamic sales environment.
- Contribute to Growth: Share insights and fresh ideas to refine sales processes and improve outcomes.
- Hit & Exceed Targets: Consistently surpass sales goals and KPIs to drive both personal and company success.
- Stay in the Know: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and client challenges, ensuring you stay one step ahead.
- Collaborate with Excellence: Work closely with editorial, events, and leadership teams, always representing the company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Who We’re Looking For
- A bright and ambitious graduate with 12-24 months of B2B media sales, advertising sales, events sales or similar transferable experience.
- A results-oriented individual with a passion for driving sales success.
