About the position of Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a boutique bridging lender based in Mayfair, London. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business, working closely with the founders to identify and develop opportunities with high-value business intermediaries. Responsibilities for the role of Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance
- Identify and develop unregulated bridging loan opportunities from brokers, focusing on England and Wales, with a preference for the M25 region.
- Achieve monthly target completions of £1.5m.
- Provide exceptional service levels to all broker accounts, ensuring strong and lasting relationships.
- Attend field-based meetings with brokers and clients, alongside trade shows and industry events.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the client, promoting their values and enhancing market reputation.
- Prepare, maintain, and execute account management plans for intermediaries within your business area.
- Proactively contribute to product development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal underwriters to support the progression of new enquiries and pipeline applications.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with brokers.
- Create and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and update broker contacts in the CRM database.
- Organise and participate in networking events and seminars to expand the company's reach.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, interpret market news, and assess loan risks.
- Provide support for ad hoc duties and other business needs as required.
Experience and skills required for the role of Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance
- Thorough understanding of the UK property finance industry, with existing broker relationships in the bridging finance market.
- Proven track record of achieving at least £1m in monthly completions.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working for a non-bank property lender in a business development capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Committed to delivering first-class customer service.
