Leading events business in the ecommerce space seeks a super polished sponsorship sales candidate with circa 3 years + experience to join their fast growing event sales team.
This role will focus on selling high end sponsorship opportunities to clients within the highly lucrative technology space.
We are keen to hear from candidates with a minimum of 2 years in either event sponsorship sales, recruitment, advertising sales etc.
Role: Business Development Manager - Sponsorship Sales
- Generating new business, increasing pipeline and bringing on new prospects
- Managing some key spending accounts
- Sell high-value sponsorship opportunities
- Pitch clients over the phone and through face to face meetings
- Attend events - lots of face to face meetings
- Consultative selling is a key part of this role, the right candidate should be able to sell creatively, through solution led selling
Profile of Candidate:
- 2 years + in b2b event sales (sponsorship) or recruitment, IT sales, Ad sales
- Consistently high achiever in delivering revenue
- Highly consultative sales ability
- Strong desire to sell
- Degree educated
- Excellent communication skills
- Successful track record achieving revenue targets
- Someone with a consultative sales approach is a necessity here
