Position Overview:

Morgan McKinley are working in partnership with a US Law Firm who are looking to hire an experienced and proactive Business Development professional to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive marketing and business development initiatives. You will be integral in the development and execution of projects that support the firm's growth and client engagement across multiple practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to manage and update website content, firm intranet, and create marketing collateral (brochures, newsletters, ads, etc.).

  • Compile and deliver market research, including data on key clients and industry trends, to support client engagement and business development efforts.

  • Assist in the creation and execution of the marketing portion of the firm's annual business development plan.

  • Provide in-depth analysis of industry trends and issues that affect clients' businesses.

  • Update and maintain practice area content, including rankings and practice materials, and help facilitate the distribution of daily alerts.

  • Lead marketing efforts for client pitches, proposals, and formal requests for proposals (RFPs).

  • Maintain and revise attorney biographies based on practice area needs.

  • Manage logistics for events and provide support for practice-specific client teams.

  • Participate actively in firm-wide initiatives and special projects.

  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the firm's objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in business development or marketing within a professional services environment.

  • Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills are essential.

  • Proficient in using CRM systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools.

  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and manage projects under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with internal teams.

  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
