Their team of economists delivers award-winning macroeconomic, financial market, and sector-specific analysis, along with forecasts and consultancy services, operating from offices in London, New York, Toronto, and Singapore. Their clients include asset managers, hedge funds, boutique family offices, and major investment banks. They are frequently cited in global media and consistently rank high in macroeconomic forecasting polls.
As they expand the commercial team, they are seeking enthusiastic and skilled candidates to join the business development team in London. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, researching, and engaging with potential clients, helping to drive the growth of our client base.
The Role
This role involves leading the full 360-degree sales process, from prospecting to closing. You will report to the Head of Sales (EMEA & APAC) and be based in London, UK.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a thorough business development plan that aligns with the company's goals.
- Manage the entire sales process, from identifying potential clients and making initial contact to negotiating contracts and finalizing deals.
- Craft and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Meet sales objectives and revenue targets by effectively managing your sales pipeline and closing deals.
- Regularly evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and economic changes to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, including industry groups, professional networks, and potential partners.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in Business Development, Financial Analysis, or FinTech SaaS sales.
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets for new business acquisitions.
- Strong written, verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong drive to succeed.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Proficient in IT and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
