An award-winning London-based law firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced Business Development and Marketing Manager to assist with the development and review of the business development strategy.

You will have a wide array of responsibilities and the opportunity to directly influence the way business development initiatives are developed and implemented. Reporting to the firm’s BD Director and working closely with the wider marketing team, you will play an essential role in strengthening the firm’s growth plans.

This role is to support an aggressive growth plan into Speciality Markets with new clients. This would suit a confident individual who isn’t afraid of managing senior stakeholders.

**You must have previous business development experience from either a legal or insurance background**

Location:           London – 2 days in the office and 3 days from home – Travel to other offices on occasion will be required

Salary:                £45,000 – £50,000

Hours:                 – Full time – flexible working hours

Duties:

  • You will be sharing key metrics where appropriate as well as supporting the delivery of a range of bids and tenders- ensuring the firm's response to formal client panel reviews, RFIs, ITTs and RFPs is properly managed and co-ordinated
  • You will deliver on a range of business development activities and tasks and ensure that all relevant business development plans and logs are maintained and kept up to date in order to help drive the right BD activity including the development of a workable bid library
  • You will be expected to set up and attend a range of BD meetings with the BD Director in order to facilitate targeting efforts whilst working with the marketing team to ensure BD activities are aligned with marketing activities on a day-to-day basis
  • You will support the development and delivery of a range of BD collateral on behalf of the business including capability statements, informal proposals and presentations
