Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment are currently networking for a Business Development Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a progressive and dynamic FM service provider supporting customers with commercial office cleaning, commercial window cleaning, specialist services, drainage and waste management to name a few. As Business Development Manager, you will be working towards an annual sales target of £500,000 for the first year, developing business relationships across commercial and public sectors. The ideal Business Development Manager will have a minimum of two years' experience within the commercial cleaning sector, with proven experience of developing and increasing business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Team who is constantly expanding, while challenging yourself in terms of sales and business development targets.
Responsibilities:

Survey sites/jobs in order to establish client's requirements

Actively work to build knowledge and rapport with clients which will involve visiting sites

Submission of quotations as well as experience in preparing and managing tender bids

Record all information, sales activity and communication held in a database

Provide accurate information through to the operational team to ensure contract/job requirements are met and to enable a successful start to the contract

Build pipeline for single and multiple site services and bundled services

Able to self-generate own leads
Requirements:

Minimum two years' experience within the commercial cleaning sector

Generate new business opportunities in line with monthly activity and sales targets

Responsible for all stages of the sales process from cold calling to negotiating and closed the sale

Maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure they are kept satisfied with the company's services

Proven experience of developing and increasing business

Prompt and accurate reporting to Management as necessary

Computer literate and comfortable using a computer for various tasks

Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook

Knowledge / experience in core services - desirable
