Are you a dynamic and motivated professional with a passion for business growth? We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our Restaurant Associate sector.

As Business Development Manager you will:

  • Lead New Business Initiatives: Work alongside our Restaurant Business Development Director to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. From the first client meeting to contract sign-off, you’ll manage every step of the sales process.

  • Bid Management: Oversee the bidding process, including bid writing, development, and submission. Collaborate with the Bid Manager and Finance team to ensure all bids are compelling and competitive.

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders to drive business growth. Ensure client needs are met through tailored solutions and strategic planning.

  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Business Development Director and Business Director to devise effective sales and retention strategies for each client in addition to identifying key opportunities and deliver winning proposals.

  • Market Leadership: Stay updated with industry trends and challenges. Lead initiatives to demonstrate thought leadership in the market through webinars, articles, and other platforms.

The successful Business Development Manager will :

  • Have previous experience in catering, hospitality, or support services is preferable. (Experience with public sector tenders is a plus)

  • Show strong commercial acumen

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to develop winning financial proposals.

  • Be proactive, client-focused, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Have a competitive edge, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure. Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to think on your feet are essential.
