Our Client

Our client is a Series A backed start-up in the hospitality/property space, who have created an industry-breaking alternative to "dark kitchens". They have raised over £250m in investment, which they are using to revolutionise the way in which the hospitality sector can scale their businesses through quality-built commercial kitchens. As they build their sales team, they’re looking to hire a Business Development Manager who will identify, engage and close deals within the hospitality sector.

What You'll Get

As a Business Development Manager you can expect a basic salary of £40-50k with up to 21k commission plus bonuses. Our client have an awesome work culture, with free lunches provided every day! They are predominantly an office-based business, so you will be happy working in the office the majority of the time.

What You'll Do

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for managing the full 360 sales cycle, selling into both SMBs and enterprises in the hospitality sector. Part of the sale will be showing prospects around the commercial kitchen spaces on offer, so you will be happy with selling face-to-face. You will work closely with the operations team to manage those relationships with clients once they have been onboarded.

What You'll Need

The right Business Development Manager will have a PASSION for the hospitality industry, and have the desire to join a young business as they bring their revolutionary concept to a constantly developing market. You will know how to negotiate and close deals, and will have a commercial and strategic mindset. You will have 3+ years in sales and are happy to be in an outbound-focused sales environment. This role will suit someone who has a background in hospitality, or someone working in real estate looking to try a new industry!
