SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.  

We are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager, who will increase the sales of SIG Interiors products within London and further generate demand for SIG Interiors products through existing & new customers.

As Business Development Manager you will:

•    Proactively drive sales on our full range of products by achieving sales targets, developing customer relationships, product ranges and managing key accounts.  •    Assume responsibility for delivering sales budgets of assigned products.•    Provide expert knowledge and technical support to customers, external and internal colleagues, providing invaluable assistance in securing their sales opportunities for the business.•    Assist branches with pricing and agree pricing policies for assigned products which ensures sales and margin growth. •    Drive new business throughout the region, working alongside other sectors within the business and the branches on low spend/dormant account & new spend.•    To project track within the region, through early engagement on sites and with National accounts and by identifying new opportunities.

The successful candidate will require:•    Educated to degree level (desirable, but not essential with relevant experience).•    Experience within the Interiors industry (desirable).•    Proven track record in delivering results and financial targets.•    Strong decision-making ability.•    Successful sales management experience.•    Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to articulate the corporate vision and translate this in to effective strategic and operational plans.•    Excel skills.•    Strong understanding of project tracking and construction build process.•    Ability to produce high quality and accurate reports in a fast-paced sales environment.
