About the role of Business Development Manager / Senior Business Development Manager

With the opportunity of working from the London office and flexibility to work remotely 3 days a week, our client is seeking a bright, motivated, and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join the Business Intelligence Subscription Sales team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Develop new business with new prospects in the UK & EMEA consisting of Investment Banks, Corporates, Consultancies, Advisory Firms, Private Equity Firms, Law Firms and Asset Managers
  • Sell subscriptions and data licenses for our client’s innovative online news, data & intelligence platform to senior level decision makers
  • Manage the sales process from beginning to end - this will include securing introductions with decision makers whilst also providing support to users across all departments and divisions on potential new clients
  • Occasional travel (when permitted) throughout Europe to conferences and to see prospective clients
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales revenue targets

About You

  • Proven track record in B 2 B Sales / Business Development and a track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years in Subscription based Sales / Business Information Sales
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience of selling to Investment Companies, Law Firms, Advisory Firms or Consultancies would be preferable
  • Track record of closing multiuser license deals
  • Competitive, driven and credible
  • Ambitious, self-aware and passionate about career development / success
