Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of enterprise customers, ensuring renewals, upsells, and revenue growth.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities, aligning solutions with client needs.
- Lead account review meetings, develop strategic roadmaps, and ensure KPIs are met.
- Work closely with Product, Research, and IT teams to enhance platform features and improve user experience.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by attending conferences, networking events, and industry seminars.
- Play a key role in new business development, converting warm leads into long-term partnerships.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal Business Development Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years' experience in client development, account management, or sales within ResTech, SaaS, or the insights industry.
- Strong understanding of research software, audience businesses, and subscription/renewal models.
- Hunter style business development experience.
- A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience in new business development, from initial engagement through to closing deals and expanding client accounts.
- A customer-focused mindset with a drive for delivering results and identifying opportunities for growth.
- A problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using research software and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and platforms.
