Business Development Manager Translation Services

About the Role

We are a rapidly growing international startup specialising in language services for the Medical/Life Sciences and Data Insights industries. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a driven Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, building, and nurturing strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, while also developing and executing personal sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the expansion of the client base in both the UK and USA by researching and developing new and existing accounts. Generate leads and business opportunities from untapped markets.
  • Continuously monitor the market for emerging business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Schedule and lead meetings and presentations with potential clients.
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations that showcase the company's offerings.
  • Track all sales activities using CRM software, ensuring account information is regularly updated.
  • Work with relevant departments to communicate client feedback and pain points.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless sales and service delivery.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of sales experience with a proven ability to develop new accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong ability to generate leads, develop winning proposals, and close deals.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, while also contributing as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Comfort and confidence when engaging with new people and delivering presentations, both in-person and virtually.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A strong drive to exceed targets and the ambition to grow professionally within the sales field.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
