Joining a well-regarded marketing and BD team, who are supportive and friendly, this BD Manager role will take ownership of a broad range of BD and marketing initiatives for the life sciences sector team. Working in close collaboration with highly engaged stakeholders, this BD Manager role is varied and will include:

  • Identifying new opportunities and working with internal teams to ensure cross sector opportunities are maximised.
  • Undertaking client and sector research to identify trends and themes.
  • Profile raising initiatives.
  • Business planning and budget management.
  • Providing strategic advice and guidance to stakeholders, working as a true business partner.
  • Executing key client initiatives.
  • Leading on submissions and bid projects.
  • Collaborating with the wider MBD team to develop and deliver marketing communications campaigns and sector events.
  • Leading in sharing marketing and business development best practice and providing coaching to associates and junior team members.

The successful candidate for this BD manager role will possess:

  • Solid BD and marketing experience gained in a law firm environment. At least 1 – 2 years working at Manager level.
  • Experience of, or an interest in the life sciences sector.
  • Proactive, results driven approach.
  • Strong communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of people management.
