My client is a significant independent business operating in the supply of light catering equipment to the Hospitality and Foodservice sector. This is an established business with some fantastic well known brands in its portfolio.

My clients are looking for a driven sales professional who is self motivated and passionate about sales and able to deliver excellent customer service.

Sector: Tableware and Utensils

The role

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Package: Commission and Bonus scheme, company car, laptop, mobile.

This role will be to sell predominately tabletop equipment and cookware to end-user customers in the foodservice sector as well as catering distributers.

As well as managing and supporting established customer distributer accounts there will also be a focus on growing new business prospecting for new end-user accounts. These new business accounts will be found in the Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes, Education and Leisure sectors.

The person

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • A successful sales record within B2B field sales
  • Some working knowledge of sales to the catering or Foodservice sector.
  • Confident communicator.
  • The flexibility of approach to sell at 'ground’ level while supporting the National Account team.
  • Self motivation and discipline with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to make proposals and recommendations quickly.
  • A genuine interest and passion for the products you are selling.
  • Hunger and desire to succeed.
  • It is important that candidates have the flexibility to travel around the Southeast, this will mean overnight stays on occasion.
