Our client is currently seeking a New Business Development Manager to join their expanding sales team. Working as part of a small group, with travel to customer sites across Europe, you will play a key role in a growing business.

You will be responsible for a target within new business. Planning, implementing and engaging sales activities on behalf of the company to achieve sales objectives. Selling their platform product set and associated services to the European regulatory market, consisting of regulators (Government and Financial).

Main job tasks and responsibilities

• Create by outreach and drive pipeline of new business opportunities across Europe • Generate, qualify, drive leads and provide a detailed business plan • Work efficiently with a pre-sales team of support engineers • Achieve organizational sales goals and revenue targets • Ability to multitask numerous sales cycles simultaneously, whilst ensuring organizational sales goals and revenue targets are achieved • Regular engagement with product management to deliver intelligence on client needs • Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives • Development and provision of sales presentations and proposals • Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue in co-ordination with Sales Operations Manager • Ensure accurate representation of all sales and account activities within the CRM system • Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis • Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts

Education and experience

• Business degree or related professional qualification preferred • Experience and evidence delivering against business target • Strong software solution sales experience across On-site and Managed Hosting • Experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy • Personal gravitas and experience selling into senior level decision makers • Proven experience in management of customer relationship • Experienced use of market research and using it to advance sales and account growth • Relevant product and services knowledge • Experience of regulatory reporting and data modelling an advantage

THIS IS MAINLY HOME BASED WHEN NOT OUT WITH CLIENTS - WHERE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO GO INTO THE OFFICE 1 - 2 TIMES PER MONTH.
