Our client is an award-winning design & digital communications agency involved in Financial Wellbeing, Employee Benefits & Branding. The company is part of a highly successful UK- wide Retirement and Financial Education Group.

This London-based business is looking to recruit a New Business Development Manager. Reporting to the Client Services Director, the New Business Development Manager's key duties will include:

Delivering new business sales targets as defined by Client Services Director measured by:

  • Growth and development of the sales pipeline
  • Engagement metrics (open email rates, event participation, case study requests)
  • Conversion rate from qualified leads to pitches
  • Conversion rate from qualified leads to pitches

Developing and managing the new business contact plan to support the delivery of sales targets activities to include:

  • Pipeline development
  • Gap Analysis
  • Activity planning & management

Managing the follow up of new business leads to arrange initial and follow up appointments from:

  • External events
  • Mailing campaigns
  • Website enquiries

Additional duties include:

  • Managing all follow up activity from events attended
  • Taking the lead in any response to tender applications in order to secure shortlisting, working with internal departments to create innovative ideas for the delivery of services and play lead role in pitch meetings in order to secure new business contracts
  • Managing and developing your new business contact plan to support the delivery of sales targets activities including pipeline development and activity planning & management
  • Attending industry networking events and conferences to build connections and stay up-to-date on trends
  • Researching and seeking networking events to explore potential new business opportunities

The successful candidate for the New Business Development Manager vacancy will receive:

  • Up to £65,000 salary (depending on experience), OTE £80,000+

Suitable candidates interested in the New Business Development Manager vacancy will have the following criteria:

  • Experience of working in Employee Benefits OR Financial Wellbeing either for a Tech (SaaS), Agency or Financial Services company
  • 5+ years’ experience in a sales, business development or consultancy lead environment managing new business activity
  • A proven track record of successful new business management
  • Possesses a good understanding of workplace pensions, share schemes and financial wellbeing
  • Hungry to succeed, highly motivated, creative and entrepreneurial
  • Live a commutable distance from central London
