My client, a high-achieving Independent Alternative Provision with sports specialism, is looking for an experienced School Business Manager to drive the organisation through a period of rapid and continuous growth.
The role will be highly rewarding, allowing you the autonomy to work with a small and committed staff team to help students learn to flourish in an environment that prides itself on the highest standards for all.
You'll Be Responsible For
- Budget Planning
- Finance: Implementation of robust financial systems
- HR and Recruitment: Select, hire, and supervise staff in all areas of the business
- Income Generation
- Building Acquisition
- Confrence Presentations
- Clerking
- Website Compliance
- Policies and Risk Management
- Catering, Lettings and H&S
- The Business Continuity Plan
- Marketing & PR
- Office Systems
- Coordinate orientation of new staff and on-going training and education of our current staff
- Implement pricing strategy and manage the business to aggressive growth goals
- Monitor operations performance and drive issue resolution as needed
Qualifications
- Relevant work experience as a Business Manager
- General business skills including budget preparation, staff development, and training
- Requires reasoning ability and good independent judgment
