Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Campaign Manager for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will lead the council's flagship "Place" campaign, developing and executing strategies to enhance the borough's reputation as a vibrant destination to live, work, invest, visit, and study, while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and managing key communications initiatives.

Key Duties:

  • Lead and manage the council's "Place" campaign to promote Tower Hamlets as a top destination.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, businesses, and community groups to support campaign goals.
  • Organise and execute events, ensuring strong community engagement and campaign visibility.
  • Manage budgets, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and report on ROI to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Significant experience in delivering successful communications or marketing campaigns, ideally focused on place-making, community engagement, or inward investment.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, partners, and agencies.
  • Experience in managing budgets, coordinating events, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns.
  • Strong background in evaluating campaigns and using data to measure impact and ROI.

What's on offer:

Salary: £217+per day

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
