Category Manager - £70K - £80K - Hybrid (London) - Telco Industry
I have partnered with a world-leading Telecommunications business that has a strong global reach with millions of customers.
This is a brand-new role to the business as they are looking to expand in the current market and continue being the leading operator in the UK. You will work towards expanding the vision for the business and drive into new markets within consumer electronics.
You will be reporting to the Director in the portfolio, and work with a team of specialist marketers across the business.
Key Responsibilities
·Collaborate with the wider marketing team to understand the market.
·Evaluate consumer electronic categories to match the strategy for the business.
·Present new opportunities for the portfolio and manage the roadmap and planning.
·Represent the Consumer Electronics part of the business at external and industry events.
Skills & Experience
·5-8 years' experience in category management role.
·Excellent communication skills when working with the wider partnerships team and stakeholders.
·Industry experience selling a product to the customer e.g. TVs, appliances etc - this is essential.
·We are looking for a go-getter and enthusiastic person that wants to get involved in all areas of the business.
·Strong category management experience - brown & white products
