Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Salary: £120,000 + Benefits

About the RoleOur client is looking for an experienced, commercially savvy Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with a strong background in selling non-tangible, discretionary-spend services. If you’re skilled at promoting value in a service-based setting and know how to drive growth, this is your chance to make a real impact within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO to shape and execute the commercial strategy, drive revenue growth, expand the client base, and build strategic partnerships. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a new five-year plan aimed at increasing reach, influence, and overall impact across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to achieve revenue and growth targets aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals.

- Develop and implement a commercial strategy focused on attracting new clients, creating new services, and establishing high-value partnerships.

- Lead a high-performing business development and events team that’s motivated, aligned with company values, and focused on achieving results.

- Work closely with the operational team to keep the strategy on track, embedding a commercial mindset throughout the organisation.

Commercial Development

- Drive new client acquisition, clearly communicating the value and benefits of partnership with the organization.

- Strengthen client retention efforts by working closely with the Deputy CEO and client management team to keep clients engaged and satisfied.

- Increase sponsorship opportunities and oversee an engaging events programme that enhances the organization’s reputation as a top advocate for the business community.

- Identify and act on market opportunities, providing feedback on where demand lies and developing strategies to meet it.

- Lead the sales process, ensuring prospective clients understand the unique value of partnership.

- Partner with finance to enhance forecasting abilities and provide strategic insights for the Leadership Team and Board.
