We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Client Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of existing business relationships within the FMCG & retail sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising opportunities for growth, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and championing the company's brand and values.

Our client is a London based tech start-up focused on re-defining the world of vending and automated retail. Their technology has seen them become one of the fastest growing vending operators in the UK and they work with an impressive list of clients including Apple, Amazon, ASOS, BP, CBRE, iQ Students, McLaren, Virgin Active, Visa.

Off the back of this success, they've had a huge amount of interest in their technology from leading retailers & FMCG companies many of whom are currently looking to streamline operations and incorporate automated solutions into their retail footprint.

As a business, they're ideally positioned in a market that is certain to see significant growth in the next few years.

Description

Having doubled in growth in 2024 they are seeking an ambitious and motivated Client Relationship Manager to act as the face of the business and drive continued growth in 2025 and beyond.

Key responsibilities:

  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of the company's proposition and build strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Focus will be on maximising the existing relationships we have with leading global service providers (contract catering/facilities management companies) & FMCG clients.
  • Identify potential new areas of opportunity, map out the market and strategically approach key decision makers.
  • Offer insights to the broader business development team & CEO. This will be crucial to guiding company growth strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.

Profile

A successful Client Relationship Manager should have:

  • Previous experience working in an Account Management focused role OR the ability to identify transferable skills suited to an Account Management role.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG or Technology space would be particularly interesting but not essential.
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable initiating conversations with prospective new clients through multiple mediums - phone, email, LinkedIn, events.
  • Excellent communication skills able to effectively network and build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Highly driven to succeed and able to think on their feet to react to new challenges.
