We're on the hunt for a dynamic Email Marketing Manager to be a driving force behind our cleints B2B and B2C email strategy. Our client is a market leader in the entertainment technology space, supporting massive brands such as Disney and Netflix! This role is crucial in managing life-cycle marketing to enhance customer engagement, retention, and upselling. You'll spearhead the creation of targeted content, craft compelling campaigns, and leverage data to fuel impactful results. Your contributions will be key in propelling our email initiatives forward, fostering customer loyalty, and expanding revenue in our fast-paced tech entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation & Coding: Develop new automations using HTML5, Liquid, and CSS within our marketing platform, distributing content across various channels.
  • Campaign Creation & Deployment: Design, copy edit, set-up, and deploy email marketing campaigns.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Build, monitor, and optimize automated emails based on customer attributes; produce comprehensive reports using Google Analytics and other tools.
  • Lifecycle & Pre-Member Acquisition: Create and manage marketing programs tailored to members; develop acquisition strategies through newsletters and promotions.
  • Segmentation & Personalization: Segment lists and personalize campaigns for enhanced relevance and impact.
  • Trend Monitoring & Compliance: Stay updated with email marketing trends and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure an integrated marketing approach.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct A/B testing and utilize feedback to refine tactics.
  • Calendar & Initiative Coordination: Manage the email marketing calendar, aligning with broader marketing plans.
  • Strategic Development: Identify and target high-value customer segments for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Integration & Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with tech teams to integrate marketing automation and CRM systems.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Proven experience with B2B/B2C membership marketing, focusing on email strategy and execution.
  • Strong grasp of email marketing best practices and lifecycle marketing.
  • Proficient in ESPs and marketing automation tools like Braze, Mailchimp, Marketo, or HubSpot.
  • Experience with HTML, basic coding, and data integrations (APIs/webhooks).
  • Detail-oriented with strong copywriting skills and an eye for design.
  • Analytical skills to assess customer experiences and campaign success.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection laws.
