Role: Export Sales Manager

Location: London

Hours: Mon – Fri – 8.30am – 5pm

Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to join our small, dedicated team. This role focuses on the export sales of medals and insignia, primarily targeting developing countries, notably in Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and expanding our customer base and ideally will speak both English and French fluently.

What will you be doing in the role?

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase export sales of medals and insignia.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers, ensuring a smooth transition from the current in-charge who is planning retirement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in developing countries, with a focus on Central Asia, Middle East and Africa.
  • Collaborate with workshop to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
  • Achieve sales targets and maximise commission earnings.

What we would like from you:

  • Proven experience in export sales, preferably within the luxury goods sector.
  • Strong understanding of the market dynamics in developing countries, particularly in Africa.
  • Experience working with governments and official bodies in developing countries.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English and French (French not  deal breaker but desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Willing to travel at a short-notice as per the customer requirements.
