Field Sales Specialist

Permanent Role

Remote/Territory Based - London/South East England

55,000 - 60,000 - Based on 80% basic & 20% OTE

I am working with one of the world's leading and most recognisable manufacturing and engineering companies who have an opportunity for an experienced and successful sales professional to join their team as a Field Sales Specialist covering their London and South East of England territory

This role is within their Abrasive Systems Division so the ideal candidate will be experienced in this area. However, if you have a proven track record of sales success in the manufacturing, aerospace, automotive or industrial sectors then please get in touch.

As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for

  • Support our end user customers to optimize their production processes, delivering market leading productivity savings and safety improvements with our abrasive products
  • Meet & exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by increasing market share through competitive new end user conversions
  • Build a strong pipeline of new opportunities and close win these opportunities as required
  • under sales plan.
  • Utilise the Customer Relationship Database (url removed) (accounts, activities, opportunities, profiles, contacts) as a territory management and sales planning tool
  • Find and develop new end users increasing end user loyalty to our Abrasive products across the territory by using abrasive product, application and process knowledge
  • Develop close working relationships with the territory channel partner Sales Reps built on agreed business plans, promotional activities, joint working and end user support.
  • Feedback on competitor activities within the marketplace.

  • Organised with ability to work with others and alone to deadlines
  • IT literate - Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. (url removed)
  • Pro-active, driven, results focused self-starter with a passion for sales and exceeding targets
  • Tenacious and resilient - ability to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcome, retaining focus and perspective
  • Capable of grasping technical concepts within abrasive products and selling/demonstrating these in an industrial manufacturing environment
