Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction to Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management through market analysis, forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Analyse market, category, trade sector, brand, and competitor performance to identify future trends and opportunities.
- Deliver insights on market activities and strategic plans across multiple channels, offering actionable recommendations for marketing activities and strategic plans.
- Develop "what-if" scenario planning using various data sources to support decision-making and strategic direction.
- Manage relationships with market measurement data suppliers and related research providers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company requirements.
- Oversee the budget for market measurement data and related research, ensuring compliance with policies and delivery of budget commitments.
- Work with the Research and Insights Team to develop performance reports and trackers with appropriate KPI metrics for decision-making.
- Support the Strategic Insights Director with reporting, dashboard creation, and ad hoc projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of analytical/statistical experience in FMCG, with strong marketing or sales background.
- At least 1 years’ experience in people management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with forecast modelling software is a plus.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
