The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and capitalising on new opportunities, expanding the client base, and generating leads for the FX trading and payments portal.
As the Business Development Manager, actively pursue sales opportunities and deliver customised, value-driven solutions to meet client needs.
The Role:
- Lead efforts to expand the customer base, meet growth targets, and maximize the financial performance of the business.
- Serve as an ambassador for the client’s products—particularly Digital Fx Sales—by promoting their unique value, strategic benefits, and competitive advantages to clients and partners.
- Monitor UK market trends and identify new opportunities, ensuring that the Business Development Manager remains responsive to evolving client demands.
- Oversee and manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
- Provide operational and technical support for the trading portal when necessary to maintain high service standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, marketing initiatives, and client engagement activities for review.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to build a strong business development culture, with the Business Development Manager taking a leading role in driving profitability and delivering high-value client solutions.
- Manage and oversee direct sales activities, keeping the Board informed of key initiatives and presenting strategic recommendations for approval.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of sales strategies, including actionable plans to meet revenue and business development objectives.
- Support digital marketing efforts to enhance the visibility and promotion of the FX Digital Portal and other services, as directed by leadership.
- Foster and maintain critical relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, a key responsibility of the Business Development Manager.
- Stay informed about regulatory frameworks and financial crime risks, ensuring robust measures are in place to protect the business.
