This newly created role is key to driving the company’s operational transformation, ensuring their processes, systems, and tools are optimized for greater efficiency, profitability, and long-term scalability. Ultimately, this role will enhance workflows and systems, redefining how the organisation operates. The role holder will identify inefficiencies, implement strategic improvements, and position the company at the forefront of best-in-class operations.
Within the organisation, this role will focus on:
- Analysing and mapping current processes, pinpointing inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Developing and securing buy-in for change management initiatives that drive meaningful transformation.
- Collaborating across teams to streamline workflows and eliminate unnecessary manual tasks.
- Identifying and implementing automation solutions to reduce repetitive work and boost productivity.
- Establishing a clear framework to track and measure improvements in operational efficiency.
- Leading the evaluation, selection, and deployment of new technologies, this role ensures that systems enhance performance and support business objectives.
- Assessing and recommend tools that improve workflow, focusing on project management, task management, CRM, data analytics, workforce management, and finance systems.
- Overseeing the seamless integration of new platforms, ensuring successful adoption by teams.
- Partnering with IT and vendors to facilitate smooth system upgrades and technology rollouts.
- Exploring AI-driven solutions to enhance decision-making, streamline operations, and improve forecasting and reporting.
- Designing and refining back-office infrastructure to support the scale and complexity of retail operations and staffing initiatives, staying ahead of industry best practices.
- Enhancing workforce planning, scheduling, payroll management, and field team logistics.
- Improving client reporting, KPI tracking, and operational dashboard capabilities to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Developing and implementing training and communication strategies to support the adoption of new processes and tools.
- Partnering with the organisation’s leadership to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proactively identifying resistance to change and implement strategies to address concerns and ensure smooth transitions
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Experience in business transformation, operational improvement, or change management.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, workforce management, or large-scale staffing programs.
- Proven ability to drive efficiency, implement process improvements, and lead change initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with project management, CRM, finance systems, or workflow automation tools.
- Knowledge of AI-driven process automation is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable managing change in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
