One of the world’s largest global law firms is looking for an experienced Marketing & Business Development professional to work within a well-established and highly-regarded global Marketing & BD team dedicated to supporting the firm on a wide range of business development, marketing and client relationship management activities.
The role sits within the global Manufacturing, Energy and Industrials sector group, which consists of the Energy and Manufacturing and Industrials Groups. The firm require a capable and enthusiastic Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead their global Manufacturing and Industrials sector and to work with the broader Manufacturing, Energy and Industrials team to support group strategy. You will be integral in helping to drive forward the sector and a number of the firm's key client relationships to ensure that the firm maximises opportunities to grow their revenues from existing and prospective clients across the practice and industry groups, raises the firm’s profile and position within key markets and leverages and coordinates people, knowledge and resources in an effective and efficient manner. The role holder will work with the global sector heads and sub-sector leads on the creation and implementation of business plans and budgets, regularly monitoring and reporting on progress. The successful applicant will enjoy a broad and varied role and will be responsible for the development and implementation of structured and planned approaches across the full range of business development and marketing activities including targeting and client development and outreach, pitching, knowledge development, profile raising and marketing campaigns on a global basis.
Pre-requisites for this challenging Marketing & Business Development Manager role include an outstanding academic record or equivalent allied to strong, proven marketing and business development experience ideally gained in a leading law or professional services firm, to include demonstrable success in managing multi-faceted projects, campaigns and pitches. Prior knowledge of working with clients within the Manufacturing, Energy or Industrials sectors is highly desirable but it is by no means essential.
