Marketing & Communications Manager - Law Firm

Morgan McKinley are working in partnership with a prestigious Law Firm client, who are looking to hire an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team for a 12-month fixed term contract.

Role Overview:As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and strengthening the visibility of the business offering. This role will involve working closely with senior partners and stakeholders, developing and executing Marketing strategies, managing communications initiatives, and enhancing client relationships to support the firm's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Marketing Strategy:
      • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns that promote the business offering
      • Create compelling content for marketing collateral, including case studies, newsletters, and online content.
      • Manage and maintain the practice's online presence, including website content and social media profiles.
      • Organise and coordinate events such as client seminars, webinars, and networking opportunities for clients and prospects.
  • Digital Responsibilities
      • Manage and optimise the performance of all digital channels, including the website, SEO, social media, and email marketing.
      • Oversee relationships with key digital agencies, ensuring effective strategy execution.
      • Collaborate with the Marketing Executive to manage the firm's social media presence and coordinate campaign sharing plans.
      • Monitor and evaluate the success of digital campaigns and social media engagement.
  • Public Relations
    • Manage the firm's ongoing PR activities across all practice areas, as well as firmwide PR initiatives.
    • Oversee the relationship with the firm's PR agency, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Branding & Communications:
    • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels.
    • Collaborate with the internal communications team to create thought leadership content and enhance the firm's profile in the legal market.
    • Support the creation of awards submissions and rankings for the team.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Monitor and report on the success of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in marketing and communications, ideally within a Law Firm
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing initiatives including website management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • A proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Salary - up to £70,000 p/annum + benefits (depending on experience)
  • Location - London (Hybrid)
  • Contract type - 12 month FTC
