Description

  • Collaborate with group leaders and attorneys on business development activities, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Develop and execute brand positioning strategies, including managing sponsorships, client presentations, seminars, and webinars.
  • Create tailored pitches and proposals for new business opportunities, track client feedback, and refine approaches to improve success rates.
  • Conduct market research and client analysis to identify trends, new business opportunities, and cross-selling synergies.
  • Coordinate with Client Intelligence to support cross-selling efforts with targeted research, relationship reports, and plans.
  • Update business development systems with attorney experience and client information, including CRM and other relevant databases.
  • Draft and edit marketing materials, such as practice area descriptions and attorney bios, and manage updates to the firm's website and intranet.
  • Oversee submissions for awards and legal directories, maintain records of accolades, and pursue PR opportunities in collaboration with communications teams.

Profile

  • Prior marketing & business development experience with proven project leadership, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; quick to learn new database systems.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across a large organisation.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement, professionalism, and poise in all interactions.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
