JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager, UK- Lingo

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The UK Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the execution of all marketing activities in the UK for Lingo, across all marketing channels including digital, social and CRM, and marketing media, with the goal of increasing awareness,consideration, engagement, ROI & business growth(consumer sales) every quarter in line with agreed budgets and targets. This role requires a broad skill set across all marketing capabilities, as well as the ability to think and act strategically and excel at hands-on implementation.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Define a compelling Brand Value Proposition: Comprehensively define the benefits, reasons to believe, brand character, and executional equities for the Brand For the UK marketing collaboration with the Lingo Global Marketing team.
  • Partner closely with the Global marketing team, advertising and digital marketing partners to create powerful, 360 degree marketing campaigns for the UK.
  • Ensure alignment of activity across functions at Lingo HQ and Regions.
  • Draft creative briefs for Agency Partners to develop advertising ideas in which to power the business.
  • Test and confirm the effectiveness of the value proposition with the target audience prior to converting to execution.
  • Work with Agency Partners to transform Insights into compelling marketing messages and executions.
  • Translate and validate research findings into powerful insights to power the brand in the UK, including market and competitor insights, brand awareness surveys, consumer qual and quant research incl. segmentation, and marketing analytics data.
  • As a UK stakeholder, input to the content engine to deliver brand assets that resonate and perform well in the UK market.
  • Work with Clinical and regulatory teams to update and develop new claims relevant to the UK, based on market research.

BACKGROUND

Minimum 8 years Business experience where development and deployment of marketing plans including digital strategies and plans were central to the success in the roles.

  • Evidence of promotion to higher levels of responsibility in the marketing function is required.
  • Must Show evidence of prowess in the following competencies: Marketing planning and campaign management, SEM, Customer acquisition strategies, Paid and organic social, e-commerce, CRM.
  • The successful individual will be grounded in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) experience at a minimum, but highly desired will be a candidate who has experience in both B to B and B to C environments, and within the consumer health tech, wearable or pharma categories.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is highly advantageous.Capabilities.

  • Ability to travel internationally at regular intervals.
  • Hybrid working in office (Central London) and from home - exact days to be agreed.
