Industry leading media events business seeks highly talented Events Marketing Manager to join their team.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the marketing campaigns for a number of leading exhibitions, conferences and awards.
This role requires excellent organisational, project management and communication skills, as well as excellent attention to detail, and the ability to consistently produce high quality work within deadlines.
This role will likely involve the team management of a junior marketing executive.
The candidate will be expected to have held a similar role for at least two years within a comparable market leading event’s organisation and will be qualified to degree level as a minimum but a professional qualification in Marketing or equivalent will be an advantage.
Key Knowledge & Skills Required:
- 2 years + in event marketing - conferences and/or exhibitions / awards - proven experience in marketing paid for events (delegates).
- Solid understanding of the digital media landscape
- Strategic mindset
- Public sector/housing/construction experience a bonus
- Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently
- Strong experience in areas including insight development and audience segmentation
- Any team leadership experience is a huge plus
- Literate and numerate with exemplary verbal and written English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
- Experience using a CRM system such as Pardot or Salesforce
- Experience using a website CMS
- In depth knowledge of marketing performance metricsÂ
