Job DescriptionAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic marketeer to support and evolve the Connells land and new homes marketing strategy, help grow market share and deliver profitable returns through the delivery of effective marketing campaigns to various audience segments.You will work alongside the Head of the Land & New Homes business, becoming the new homes subject matter expert for Connells within the Marketing teamThis role will be responsible for developing and delivering digital and offline assets, campaigns, communications and initiatives to meet the needs of this specialist business and help attract and sell more land and new homes. You will be self-motivated, have excellent project management skills and be able to work on your own initiative.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Devise, deliver and monitor successful land and new homes marketing campaigns, initiatives and communications for multiple brands using online and offline collateral to build brand awareness, drive more business, generate new lead opportunities and sell more land and new homes
  • Develop creative briefs that accurately capture and convey requirements and work with the in-house Studio to ensure they deliver on-brand assets that achieve results
  • Demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the land and new homes sector
  • Develop excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders in the business and play a key role within land and new homes meetings and conferences
  • Analyse your marketing achievements against targets, using KPIs to report on performance
  • Be the voice of the customer/client in terms of understanding their customer/client journey and their needs, ensuring the right communication methods are used to the right people at the right time
  • Produce clear and concise internal and external communications that are in the right tone and in plain English
  • Monitor competitor activity and monitor marketing activity out of our sector to identify new ideas
  • Write content, edit and proof-read to a first-class standard
  • Ensure projects meet our own internal compliance requirements as well as regulatory requirements (Trading Standards, ASA etc)
  • Demonstrate a full understanding of marketing principles and their practical implementation, including measurement of campaign success
  • Campaign/project management responsibility
  • Ensure all materials produced are on-brand
  • Share best practice and contribute to the wider marketing team and Group marketing strategy
  • Travel, as and when required, to attend and/or present at key new homes pitches, meetings, conferences and events
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Degree-level education. A CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in new homes and of working in a multi-site, multi-brand organisation an advantage
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing
  • First-class written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail and excellent presentation skills
  • Commercially-minded with a passion for marketing and a can-do attitude
  • A team player able to communicate and collaborate at all levels
  • Professional and confident to challenge and make recommendations
  • Excellent planning and time management skills and able to prioritise, delegate and multi-task
  • Able to pick things up quickly and work on own initiative
  • Proficient in the use of all key Microsoft Office packages
