Role: Marketing Manager Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: West London Salary: £45,000 + bonus 

We are seeking a Marketing Manager who is a specialist in events to join a dynamic team. This role involves contributing to all aspects of event marketing, ensuring the implementation of best practice marketing techniques, and communicating clear promotional messages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication plans for exhibitions, sponsorships, and visitor engagement, focusing on key industry sectors such as AI, hydrogen, and climate technologies.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement exhibition, sponsorship, and visitor marketing and communications plans in line with the overall event marketing strategy.
  • Create dedicated marketing campaigns to promote key industry/growth sector areas.
  • Plan and manage email marketing campaigns, including message development, copywriting, and automation.
  • Develop social media plans and content across multiple channels, strategizing to drive engagement and growth.
  • Utilize analytics to report on campaign results and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage website audits and updates to improve content and user journey, applying SEO knowledge and collaborating with SEO agencies.
  • Work with digital marketing agencies to monitor PPC campaigns and create campaign briefs.
  • Lead the copywriting, design, and production of marketing collaterals and manage the event app.
  • Manage the advocacy program for exhibitors and the exhibitor marketing manual.
  • Collaborate with the sponsorship team to fulfil agreements.
  • Manage data segmentations to support communications plans and assist in identifying data gaps and new data acquisition.
  • Handle marketing administration tasks including proofreading, delivering advertising copy, responding to enquiries, and monitoring competitor activity.
  • Provide onsite support to ensure the smooth running of marketing-related activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event marketing or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, digital marketing, and SEO.
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in email marketing and social media management.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Experience with digital advertising and managing marketing collaterals.
