London based Train Operating Company (T.O.C.) is looking to hire a capable, energetic and experienced and qualified Marketing Managerto join their Commercial Team under a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract.
In this role, reporting to the Head of Commercial Growth, the candidate will lead and manage the development and delivery of marketing activity to deliver revenue growth, drive a shift to digital retail and ticketing, and develop the company brand.
You will lead a small, fast-paced multidisciplinary marketing team, manage internal relationships with the Communications, Digital and Customer Experience Departments, and leverage external relationships with marketing partners and supporting agencies.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years marketing & ecommerce and be passionate about delivering both business growth and excellent customer experience.
With demonstrable experienced in marketing practices, such as marketing planning, campaign management, digital marketing and CRM, the Marketing Manager should also possess strong relationship management skills to work with suppliers and third parties to deliver quality, on-time and budget
Solid experience using analytics to create insight and identify areas for improvement;Goal-orientated and results-focused; an ability to collaborate, manage, influence and motivate across organisational boundaries; be capable and experienced at dealing with Executive level individuals, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Expectations, objectives and delivery by the successful Marketing Manager would be to :-
- Lead marketing planning and delivery, overseeing the team to design and execute campaigns, promotions and activations to achieve business goals
- Use analytics, research, and customer feedback to measure success and continually report on marketing KPIs and return on investment
- Leverage commercial relationships with attractions, destinations and events to add customer value, improve marketing efficiency, and drive incremental revenue
- Lead deployment of ongoing email marketing campaigns, establish tactics and strategy to drive customer loyalty, and continuously develop the teams e-CRM expertise and effectiveness
- Establish, deliver and evolve an SEO and content plan, working with agencies, the Digital & Ticketing and Communications teams to ensure strong online search visibility, and engaging marketing content
- Maintain and ensure compliance with brand guidelines, and develop the communication of brand positioning
- Work closely with other areas of the business to ensure the marketing plan and delivery is aligned with and optimised to other departments plans.
