We are partnering with a leading spirits company to recruit a talented National Account Controller to drive growth within the On-Trade channel, specifically focusing on major pub companies, breweries, and bar groups across the UK. This is a fantastic chance to make a significant impact on the success of a portfolio of well-loved premium brands.
What will you do?
- Hunter & Gatherer: Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within the premium pub, brewery, and bar segment.
- Relationship Builder: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at major national accounts and groups.
- Deal Maker: Negotiate and evaluate complex tenders, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and securing new listings for our client's premium brands.
- Strategic Planner: Develop and execute territory plans, identifying market opportunities and maximising brand visibility.
- Collaborative Partner: Work closely with RTM teams and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Brand Champion: Become a passionate advocate for the brand portfolio, understanding customer objectives and creating tailored solutions.
- Performance Driver: Exceed individual and team targets for distribution, margin, and activation KPIs.
What are we looking for?
- Proven track record of success in On-Trade sales, specifically within the pub, brewery, and bar channel.
- Experience winning new business and managing key accounts at a national level.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to evaluate complex deals.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
- A passion for premium brands and a deep understanding of the On-Trade landscape.
- Experience with CRM systems and performance reporting.
- Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events.
