Role -

The Sales Manager will be a key part of the UK leadership team for this global leader in medical supplies. The role will see the appointed person take full responsibility for the UK sales team - via both first and second line management. The sales team sell extensively throughout the Acute and CCG market and have exceptional relationships with the NHS, Private Medical Market and Business to Business sectors. The positions involves equal responsibility for strategy and implementation of sales processes to ensure continued growth and development of the UK business. It is essential that the appointed person has the drive, passion and vision to maintain revenue and margin while ensuring the strong cultural identify of the company is maintained.

Applicants - the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate continued success leading and improved medical sales teams.

MUST HAVE

  • A proven track record of sales leadership within the medical sector.
  • Pedigree in ensuring sales teams meat and exceed targets
  • A strong leadership style underpinned by ethics and passion for the medical market.
  • Strong business planning and organisational skills

IDEALLY WILL HAVE

  • Relevant product experience - Operating theatre solutions / orthopaedics, Advanced Wound Care, Theatre Supplies, Surgical Solutions and Patient Hygiene.
  • Experience selling to / leading team in hospital, CCG and Business to Business sales.
