New Business Sales Manager

Location: London (Hybrid - 1 day a week)Salary: Up to £45k DOE + £20k OTE uncappedAre you a consultative sales professional with an effective sales strategy? Do you love hunting down and closing new business? Are you a self-starter who can motivate themselves and be their own boss? We are looking for experienced, consultative B2B sales professionals to sell complex cross platform solutions.Our client is a leading provider of communications and publishing solutions - connecting the technology and science communities. They need someone to sell across their market leading publications and events. This role will focus initially on new business and lapsed accounts, but successful employees will get the chance to handle their tier 1 accounts which are valued in the millions, with a view to stepping into a Key Account Director role in Y2/Y3.

This role will include:

  • Fully understanding clients’ needs and objective using a consultative approach to create bespoke proposals
  • Drive revenue from new business and lapsed accounts with complex cross platform solutions
  • Work cross functionally with the customer success and other teams to provide clients’ best service
  • Report to the Head of Sales and providing sales report documents
  • Ensure all key accounts and territory accounts are covered to address business priorities
  • Propose new initiatives to further drive revenue

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Solid sales acumen
  • Advertising sales experience ideally in a B2B publishing or event space
  • Track record of new business, account management and product innovation
  • Excellent communicator
  • Eye for detail
  • Prepared to do whatever it takes for customer success
  • Flair for task management
  • Strong organization skills
