A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a Central London based Private bank as a Product Maager, dealing with UHNW clients. The Product Manager will work closely with the senior product manager to develop and manage the wealth management products and propositions for private and commercial clients. You will be working on existing propositions and products, and working to develop new offerings for clients, whilst adhering to FCA and PRA Conduct Rules and prioritising customer interests.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Manager to include:

  • Partner with product owner and stakeholders to enhance client and product propositions aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Use client insights, competitor analysis, and research to shape product development.
  • Design and deliver product initiatives, ensuring client needs, fair value, and regulatory compliance are met.

Product & Proposition Management:

  • Review product information to ensure accuracy and clarity for clients.
  • Perform post-launch reviews to confirm client outcomes are being met.
  • Identify and recommend product improvements, and manage the decommissioning of outdated products.

Product & Proposition Governance:

  • Conduct annual reviews of Wealth Management products and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure products comply with Consumer Duty and regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide technical product support and stay informed about industry changes.

Risk:

  • Diligently manage role-specific risks by adhering to internal policies and procedures.

Key Interfaces:

  • Product owner for Wealth Management and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with front office teams, advisers, and operational teams.

Requirements for the successful Product Manager to include:

  • Extensive experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or regulated financial services, including product management, strategy development, project management, and change implementation.
  • Proven ability to deliver new products and propositions.
  • Understanding of wealth management products to include discretionary management services and retail investment, pension and protection products
  • Strategic thinker with a strong business and commercial focus, skilled in using MI and data to support decision-making.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred professional qualification, e.g., CISI Chartered Wealth Manager.
